Ridgefield winery offers free Friday night concerts
OregonLive.com, June 27, 2009By Ruth Zschomler
Hot Audio,
a Vancouver band, played Friday night at East Fork Cellars in
Ridgefield. Close to two hundred people visited the winery and tasting
room during the concert, said Jeff Waddell, owner and winemaker. Jeff
and his wife Stacey opened the new tasting room in April.
East Fork Cellars, a Ridgefield winery and tasting room, has free concerts on Friday nights 7 to 9 p.m. They call it Rock on the Dock.
East Fork has transformed part of the former Robinson's Cold Storage into the tasting room with the look of an old California winery. What used to be the loading dock for the cold storage plant is now an outdoor patio and stage for the concerts.
It is located next to the Pacific Northwest Best Fish Co. and Cafe in Ridgefield.
Besides live concerts on Fridays, East Fork has a Tuesday Night Bluegrass Jam from 6 to 9 p.m. each week. Pros and semi-pros are welcome to join in and everyone is invited to come and enjoy the music. They are specifically hoping for a banjo player to show up to jam. The more the merrier.

Journal, May 29, 2009.
Jeff
Waddell and his wife, Stacey, have opened their new tasting room, East
Fork Cellars next to NW Best Fish Co. on 10th Avenue in Ridgefield.
It’s an intriguing and relaxing space with Jeff’s
penchant for rock (he has a band called The Cellar Rats) evidenced by
the classic rock playing on the big screen monitor. He said every
tasting room he has ever been in – and that’s a lot
– always has the “cool jazz” playing.
The
music there won’t put you to sleep and the wine is first
rate.
